How is the brotruckalier doing? Has the suspension settled down or does it still ride like

this?

Hello. It’s come down a little.

I just recently completed a 5443 kms (3300 miles +) roadtrip. It’s still sitting pretty high though so much so that I get comments here and there about “my suv” lol.

If I could guesstimate I think it’s about a half inch up.

Yes!! I park over curbs all the time and don’t give no fucks. I am big enough to safely clear over.

Removed lowering springs swapped on OEM KYB complete struts.

Not sure why it won’t come down as far as I know everything was done correct. It’s been a year now and over 20,000 kms.

Oh, just put it back to stock. Are the tires a size up? Maybe it just seems taller because most other Cavaliers have high mileage on the original parts? Or that everything’s so low now for fuel economy?

No....it’s definitely about 1/2 inch taller than most everything. Random strangers often remark how high it is.

I can park over curbs easily if that gives some idea. But yeah it’s on stock suspension now, and let’s be honest once you swap the suspesion at something like 185,000 kms you won’t be swapping it again haha.

Meanwhile I enjoy it actually, I go over bumps no problem, I park over curbs. I’ll drive over them if necessary. Life as a bro truck is pretty sweet.

I like that look a lot; which is why I was curious about it. I’ve got a bit of an obsession with raising up unibody cars that should never be raised (I want a 4x4 Cadillac Seville).

It’s turned out to be very practical. Speed bumps and parking over the curb are no problem I don’t scrape at all.
